Managing Director - Paul Stanyer

Paul has a 20 year background in travel having worked for some of the UK's major travel organisations during this time. Having spent a large portion of his career living and working overseas, Paul has a wealth of experience in dealing with overseas travel partners and the logistics of organising ground transportation which can make or break a trip.

The concept of providing a service for the international business traveller came as a result of the spectacular success of the leisure division specialist and industry favourite Holiday Taxis which Paul and his management team launched in 2002 and which recently won the acclaimed Travel Weekly Globe Award for Innovation in Travel. As a regular international business traveller himself, Paul recognises the value of having your own driver or chauffeur on hand allowing you to focus fully on business matters and not have to worry about getting from A to B.

Overseas agencies.

businesstaxis work with the best and most experienced overseas handling companies, since it is vital to have a contact in each destination to manage our partners and to ensure that all bookings have been received and arranged long before the client ever arrives. Our highly experienced management team has been working in senior positions within the UK’s leading travel organisations for well over 20 years and therefore was best placed to select these agencies and understand their needs and that of the business traveller in order to make this service work seamlessly.

Sophisticated Technology.

The reservation, email and billing systems for this service were built from scratch since no purpose built systems have previously been available. For example once a travel booker or client makes a booking on the site an email is automatically sent to our ’local’ handling agent where the booking is added to the confirmation file. Once the agent has confirmed the booking via email or within the admin section of the site the booking is transferred to the booked section. However, if for any reason the booking is not confirmed it is flagged to one of our UK administration team who will follow this up immediately. Simply put, there is no way your booking can get lost!

It is essential that with keep pace and indeed ahead of technological developments for the benefit of our overall service delivery capabilities and our clients demanding and changing needs. To ensure this is the case we work very much in partnership with our technology provider – Click with Technology – CWT
